Do you REALLY post these fliers in public places?
The answer is YES!! I do!! I hang'em up & leave'em. They stay up until someone else takes them down.
Where do you post your fliers/posters?
I post them usually at grocery stores, restaraunts, banks - anywhere there's a public bulletin board.
Aren't you afraid of getting caught?
Nope. What's the worst that can happen? The manager ask me to stop? If it ever comes to that then I will stop posting my fliers/posters at that establishment. This is for fun. I'm not trying to push anyone's buttons.
Isn't this illegal?
It's no more illegal than someone posting a flier for their garage sale. The only difference between my flier & theirs is that mine's done for the purpose of art & entertainment. It's protected by the First Admendment.
Who's phone numbers do you use? Are those just some random phone numbers?
While it is tempting to use the actual phone number of someone I may know & play a prank on them, I choose not to do that. This is for fun. Like I said, I'm not trying to push anyone's buttons.
I have one phone number that I use that goes directly to a voicemail service. You never know who may respond to the flier/poster & there can always be more comedy that can be captured via voicemail.
The other numbers that I use goes to a website that specializes in fake "hotlines." The website is http://www.humorhotlines.com/ & they are aware that I've used their numbers on my fliers. They actually think it's pretty cool!!
